The first step in solving any problem is to identify it. Journalling is a powerful way to unjumble your thoughts and emotions; to define them, analyze them, and start developing solutions. Having a daily log of these thoughts and analyses will also help you recognize and celebrate your progress and growth.

16:51 Materials and methods

The purpose of journalling is essentially to get your thoughts and emotions out of your head to help you find moments of clarity. It doesn’t matter whether you transfer these thoughts into a notebook or onto an app on your phone—the most important thing is simply to start small and keep going, with whatever method you can sustain the most easily. In this segment, Damien and Nick provide some tips and tricks for how to get started with your own journal.
